Welcome to the Vampire: The Eternal Struggle stand
Immerse yourself in the dark and supernatural world of the World of Darkness, a dark and alternative reflection of our own reality.
Take on the role of an ancient vampire known as Methuselah, considered pure legend by younger vampires. They believe they are working towards their own ends... when in fact they are mere pawns in YOUR hands, used to destroy the influence of a rival...
Vampire: The Eternal Struggle is a card game by Richard Garfield combining diplomacy, manipulation, combat and betrayal for 4 to 5 players, where alliances are as precious as they are flimsy.
Throughout the Festival International du Jeu, we are offering free guided demonstrations, open to both beginners and players curious to rediscover this classic game, which has just celebrated its 30th anniversary.
🩸 How to play?
Each player (called Methuselah) has their own deck of cards and starts with 30 pool.
This pool must be spent to take control of vampires specialising in different areas: politics, combat, secret operations, etc., These vampires can then act using the cards in your hand.
The goal is to reduce the pool of your prey (the Methuselah to your left) to zero in order to earn 1 victory point, while resisting the attacks of your predator (the Methuselah to your right) who wants to do the same to you. However, you are not alone, as the other Methuselahs may have interests that coincide with yours... for a while.
Once a Methuselah is eliminated, alliances are reshuffled, as yesterday's ally may become your new prey!
The Methuselah with the most victory points is declared the winner at the end of the game.
