The city of Cannes and its Palais des Festivals organize the International Games Festival each year and for one week it becomes the epicenter of what is new in the international games industry. Studios, publishers, authors, illustrators, gamers and the like all gather on the famous Croisette.
All disciplines and industry actors come to Cannes for a week of intense gaming. Amateurs, experienced competitors as well as professionals take over the Palais des Festivals which becomes a massive gaming board with over 45 000m² of traditional and classic games, recent board games, videogames & VR, simulation games (RPGS, miniature, historical and fantastic Wargames etc), cards, construction games, Arts & Crafts, toys and much more.
At the dawn of its 40th year, The International Games Festival sublimates its game for a 39th edition always bigger, richer and more playful.
Beaches just like the Parvis and tents will, once again, be added to the giant playground installed during few days inside the walls of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès of Cannes.
Total of 60 000 sqm of exhibitions made available to young and old, amator players or fervent competitors come to challenge themselves, with family or friends.
A renewed Village Festival where, animations, tournaments, food trucks and many other new features will be to discover this year.
Indoor :
- The exposition area located in floor -1 will host casual, intermediate, expert, role-playing games and wargames.
- Casual, intermediate, families and children games could be find in spaces located in floor 0 and Rotonde Lérins in floor +1.
We've thought of everything so that you can LIVE the Festival to the full, for a day or a long weekend.
