Is there an entrance fee?
Attendees over 16 years old must purchase a ticket. They can choose between a day-ticket, an half-day ticket or a PRIVILEGE pass. Find more information on the REGISTRATION page.

If you are an industry professional, you may book a BUSINESS badge.
The Festival remains free of charge for minors under 16 years old upon presentation of a 0€ ticket they can download online or collect at the registration office.
Can I spend the entire day at the Fair?
Yes. Everything has been thought out for you to enjoy a full day of exploring, playing, discovering exhibitions, attending conferences and much more - with the possibility of taking a break and trying some of the multiple food options available.
What happens if the Fair reaches its maximum capacity?
Like any public venue, the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès cannot exceed a certain capacity in its expo areas. When one expo area is full, we invite you to explore other areas of the Festival and try again later. We can assure you that all activities of the event will be accessible within the day of your visit.
What kind of games can I find at the Fair?
There is something for every taste! Festival exhibitors showcase all types of games: board games, video games, classics, simulation games (Role-playing games, Action RPG, Historical and Fantastic Wargames etc.), escape games, trading cards, construction games, toys, creative workshops and much more. Our main focus remains board games with many prototypes, new creations and previews showcased during the Festival!
I am not an experienced gamer, can I still come to the Festival?
Yes. The International Games Festival is for everyone and each gamer will find the games that are best suited to them. Some of the tournaments organized by exhibitors are also open to everyone.
Will I have the opportunity to try the games showcased during the Fair?
Yes. All games showcased during the Fair are available for you to try and facilitators will be present to host epic games for you! You will also be able to purchase your favorite games at the booths or in the Festival shops.
Is there a security check at the entrance of the Fair?
Yes. The Prime Minister’s “Vigipirate” initiative to enhance measures against potential terrorist attacks is still in place on a national scale. Public wishing to access the Festival will have to submit to a bag search and walk through metal detectors before entering the Fair.
Is there dedicated access for people with reduced mobility?
People with reduced mobility will benefit from dedicated access at the entrance of the Festival.
Is there a mandatory baggage deposit space?
Yes. Heavy backpacks, helmets, scooters, suitcases, strollers and other voluminous personal items must be dropped in our free-of-charge baggage deposit tent.
Can I bring food and beverages into the venue?
Food: only baby necessities such as nursing bottles and jars of baby food are allowed. Beverages: only water bottles up to 50cl are allowed.
Can I have lunch on site?
Yes. A food truck area will be set up on the outdoor part of the venue and several catering/snacking facilities will be available in each expo area indoors.
From what age can a child access the Festival without being accompanied by an adult?
Children over 13 years old can access the Festival freely. Younger children won’t be able to access the venue if they are not accompanied by an adult. We advise parents not to leave their children unsupervised and to make sure the games they are playing are age appropriate.
Can I come with my pet?
No. Animals are strictly forbidden inside the Palais des Festivals. Only guide dogs are allowed.
Are all exits final?
Yes. If you wish to enter and exit the Festival freely we recommend you to purchase a PRIVILEGE pass. However, you will have to go through the security check every time you enter the venue (bag search and walking through a metal detector).
What should I do in case any of my possessions gets lost or stolen?
Lost and found items will be stored at the Festival’s reception desk. You can claim your item during the opening hours of the Fair or call outside these hours: +33 (0) 4 92 99 33 94 (Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm). Be advised that the Festival does not accept any responsibility for any lost or stolen item.
Can I come with weapons/weapon replicas?
It is forbidden to bring objects into the Festival that present a risk to the safety of people and property such as firearms, bladed weapons, realistic weapon replicas (knives, firearms, etc.) and pepper spray. Only foam and latex weapons will be allowed for medieval jousting.

CONTEST – 2025-2026 ADVENT CALENDAR – BEHIND GOLD
ARTICLE 1 – ORGANIZATION OF THE CONTEST
The SEMEC (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizing Company"), registered in the Trade and Companies Register under the number : 38315023200015, with its headquarters located at 1 Boulevard de la Croisette – 06400 CANNES – France, is organizing a free contest with no purchase obligation, entitled : "BEHIND GOLD ADVENT CALENDAR" (hereinafter referred as "the Contest"), from Monday, December 1, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. to Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at midnight, in accordance with the terms described in these rules.
This contest is neither organized nor sponsored by Facebook and/or Instagram.
ARTICLE 2 – PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
This free contest is open to any individual over the age of 13 with internet access and a valid email address, except for employees of the Organizing Company and their families, as well as anyone involved in creating the contest. The contest is subject to French laws governing games and contests. Any minor participant must obtain prior authorization from one of their parents or legal guardians to participate in the contest. The Organizing Company may request proof of such authorization from any minor participant and reserves the right to disqualify any participant unable to provide it.
Winners who are minors may also be required to provide proof of parental authorization to receive their prizes. If a minor winner fails to provide such proof, the Organizing Company reserves the right to select a new winner. Participation in the contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules.
ARTICLE 3 – PARTICIPATION PROCESS
The contest will take place exclusively on Meta platforms (facebook.com and instagram.com) on the dates indicated in Article 1. To participate, users must follow the official pages of the "Festival International des Jeux" on these platforms.
As part of the Festival International des Jeux 2026, a special edition of the game BEHIND GOLD, developed by KYF Edition.
The contest is organized around 21 puzzles based on past " nominated for As d’Or-Jeu de L’Année" award-winning games :
A draw will take place each day after the weekday puzzles, before 12:00 p.m. For weekend puzzles, the draw will take place the following Monday before 12:00 p.m. Only one entry per day is allowed for the same name, email address, or Facebook and Instagram username.
As the contest is hosted on Facebook and Instagram, neither platform can be held responsible for any disputes related to the Contest.
ARTICLE 4 – WINNERS SELECTION
42 winners will be randomly selected between December 1 and December 24, 2025 (21 on Facebook and 21 on Instagram).
Winners will be contacted via private message on the day of the draw, confirming the prize won and instructions for claiming it. Any winner who does not respond within 3 days of notification will forfeit their prize, and a new winner will be selected.
ARTICLE 5 – PRIZES
The game is endowed with the following prizes, awarded chronologically to valid participants drawn at random and declared winners. Each winner wins a single prize of their choice : either 1 BEHIND GOLD game or 2 day tickets for the day of their choice. The prizes are distributed as follows and cannot be exchanged for their cash value or any other prize :
Games will be sent by post starting in the month of March or to be collected in one of our FIJ stores.
Day tickets and Privilege Passes will be emailed starting January 15, 2026.
ARTICLE 6 – DISQUALIFICATION AND ELIMINATION
Participants authorize verification of their identity. Any violation of these rules, fraud, or attempted fraud will result in disqualification.
ARTICLE 7 – RULES AVAILABILITY

ARTICLE 8 – REFUND OF PARTICIPATION FEES
It is observed that, in the current state of service offerings and technology, some Internet service providers offer free or flat-rate connections to Internet users, it is expressly agreed that any access to the site made on a free or flat-rate basis (such as notably cable connection, ADSL or dedicated link) cannot give rise to any refund, insofar as the subscription to the provider's services is in this case contracted by the Internet user for their general use of the Internet and that the fact for the participant to connect to the site and participate in the game does not incur any additional costs or expenses. In addition, mobile data charges may apply depending on the participant's subscription.
