Control of the Black District, a hotly contested area, is the key to dominating the city. District Noir is a game in which tactical acumen is called for, as players have to manage their hand as best they can. The cards you hold are placed in the center of the table, where they can be picked up by you or your opponent.
You'll also need a sense of timing:
- Which cards should I play, and in what order?
- When do I get my cards back?
It's these cards, and only these cards, that will earn you points at the end of the four rounds. But that's without taking into account the possibility of winning the game at any time by collecting all three City cards.
