Anunnaki: Dawn of the Gods is a 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) by Danilo Sabia and Simone Luciani, which takes place in a dystopian past, where mythology and science fiction come together.
Each player represents a different Mythology whose leaders are considered gods by the population. Players will build colonies, recruit followers, play as gods, explore planets and collect resources from their territories, develop their technology, sign trade pacts, defeat the armies of other players, and try to conquer Atlantis, mythical city which conceals incredible treasures. The game features an innovative action selection system: star-shaped player boards with a different action at each intersection.
Will you try to follow the path of the star to quickly bring your gods into play, or will you try to play actions in a strategic order to better develop your civilizations?
Each choice has its importance and can lead to a memorable victory... or a terrible defeat!
