TOPLA x the BOAT® program at Montpellier University Hospital: OK NOT OK integrated into BOAT® to strengthen prevention of sexual and sexist violence

TOPLA is pleased to announce that three games from its Sexploration range have been selected by the BOAT® program at Montpellier University Hospital (CHU de Montpellier), to further support professionals and families in preventing sexual and/or sexist violence.

This partnership builds on a nationally recognized tool, BOAT® (BOîte A ouTils), designed for professionals working with children and adolescents.

Developed at CHU de Montpellier by a specialized team, CRIAVS-LR, BOAT® is now a reference in France for equipping prevention initiatives with children and teens.

As part of this collaboration, BOAT® experts selected three TOPLA games, including OK NOT OK? For this title, the CHU de Montpellier team created an exclusive educational resource—the “BOAT® Flash Sheet”—included directly in the game box, focusing on the “grey area” of consent.

Practical and ready to use, this BOAT® Flash Sheet helps professionals:

• structure a prevention session,

• extend the discussion using clear reference points,

• open dialogue in a safe and respectful way,

• and provide interpretation tools tailored to educational contexts.

OK NOT OK? is an educational tool enriched by the team led by Dr Lacambre, psychiatrist and head of the Forensic Psychiatry Department at CHU de Montpellier—supporting prevention that is more effective, more accessible, and better equipped for real-life settings and for families.
