Boris is a bit of a jack of all trades, both in terms of his taste for games and his experience. 20 years ago, while studying art, he started hosting games evenings in bars in Metz. He continued his university studies in Lyon in the field of cultural anthropology, where he wrote 2 dissertations on games as cultural objects. He makes interships at Quai des Ludes and then at the Maison des Jeux in Grenoble. As he likes to do several things at once, he also got involved with Labojeux in Villeurbanne. After his studies, he went to work at Archijeux in the Drôme, a popular education games café.

As he couldn't stand working alone, he joined several professional networks: the Réseau des Cafés Ludiques, the Rencontres Ludiques, the Drôme-Ardèche games collective; helped organise the Valence Games Festival and tried his hand at creating games with local authors. After a while, he and some friends set up a small board games shop 30 metres from his work. Today, as part of his job, he's involved with the Groupement Interprofessionnel du Jeu de Société (Interprofessional Grouping for Board Games) to get board games recognised as a cultural object, and when he has time left over, he plays a bit of Ultimate Frisbee!

His personal tastes tend to revolve around narrative games and expert or initiated games, with a strong penchant for hidden-role games. For the time being, he specialises in early childhood games and storytelling. He has just started doing memory games with these children. It promises to be great weekends of games.
