Big names of the industry participate in our event to present essential titles, novelties and prototypes, with the possibility of exchanging with facilitators, getting an autograph from illustrators and authors, and, of course, testing the games! But the most well-known publishers are not the only ones coming to Cannes. The Festival aims to promote authors by offering them a package adapted to their needs so that they can showcase their creativity to a large public of gamers and professionals.

New in 2024 : Participate to an exclusive half-day master class dedicated to authors !  

In a wish to develop and support, the Protolab become Author Master Class, the occasion for authors to meet important game world's professionals. 

This 2024 edition offers an additional half-day specifically for authors on wednesday the 21st of february from 1.pm to 6.pm. A Master Class during the afternoon with a workshop and a plenary session about board games author's profession. 

To garantee the quality of the afteernoon, the number of participation is limited to 40.

Suscribe to an Author Master Class to be in the heart of a full experience ! 

• Participate to an half-day with Master Class, plenary session. 
• Get an Professional Pass with an acces from Thursday 22/02, 13h, to Sunday 25/02, 19h.
• Get a table during the OFF NIGHTS on Wednesday 21/02 to show you prototype to the game world's actors.

TAKE PART IN THE FESTIVAL AS A PROFESSIONAL VISITOR

PARTICIPATE TO THE OFF NIGHTS
The OFF NIGHTS attract crowds of passionate gamers over the course of 4 epic nights during which they get the opportunity to play prototypes in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rh and Saturday 24th of February 2023 from 10pm to 4am.

Thanks to their success, the OFF NIGHTS attract more and more authors every years proud to present their last prototypes. This year, to garantee the quality of those evenings, the festival will ask for a participation of 15€/night or 35€/3 nights for the renting of an exhibitions table. 

These “protonights” are the largest gathering of game authors in the world! So if you feel like you haven’t played enough during the day, come and discover this informal gathering space in which, from 10pm until sunrise, more than 300 novice and experienced authors showcase their prototypes. Who knows, you might just try tomorrow’s most popular games !
